Assistant Wellness Director - Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Wellness Director - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northwood Assisted Living, a 85-bed assisted living facility in Springfield, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. If you are a compassionate and innovative nurse with a passion for gerontological nursing and leadership, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
• Collaborate with the Wellness Director to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating the latest research and best practices
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Act as a resource person, assisting all nursing staff to develop their individual skills and potential
• Facilitate teamwork and foster a positive and supportive work environment
• Stay up-to-date with State and Federal regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of care
Requirements:
• Current Nursing License (LPN) in good standing
• Training and/or experience in gerontological nursing, as well as education and/or experience in nursing services administration
• Strong leadership interest and ability
• Ability to facilitate teamwork and be a team player
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• Ability to assist in planning and budgeting for nursing care, including recommendations from the Wellness Director
