Reconditioning Center Facilities Technician

Compensation:$20/HR

What  You’ll Do:  

• Perform janitorial and maintenance functions for buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Assist  with and/or perform preventative maintenance  
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Must  wear safety eyewear at all times  when in dealership service departments  
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:  

• Previous  experience performing janitorial or light maintenance duties  
• Ability to  frequently  kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist  
• Ability to work with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical devices, torches, liquids, and electrical devices
• Ability to  operate  forklift, skid steer,  snowplow and man lifts  
• Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places
• Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures
• Demonstrate  effective problem-solving skills  
• Must have carpentry skills
• Must know how to jumpstart vehicles knowledge
• Must have scanning and clearing code knowledge
• Must know how to drive stick shift
• Must know how to drive and back up 12 ft trailer
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. up to 25 feet .  Occasional lifting and carrying, with or without  assistance , of items up to 70 lbs.
