Registered Nurse (RN) - School/Residential Program

Location: Lancaster, MA

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible)

Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Contract Length: 13 Weeks to start

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Pay Rate: $55/hr

Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join an exceptional nursing team within a residential program serving youth. This role provides critical support through medication management, health coordination, emergency response, and health advocacy in a residential educational setting.

The RN will work collaboratively with the residential nursing team to promote student wellness, support staff education, and ensure high-quality healthcare services for youth in care. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about working with children and adolescents and making a meaningful impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services and health support to youth in a residential setting.

• Supervise medication administration and oversee medication management plans.

• Coordinate healthcare services, medical appointments, and follow-up care.

• Monitor student health status and respond to medical concerns as needed.

• Provide clinical guidance and critical decision-making during health emergencies.

• Collaborate with residential staff and interdisciplinary team members to support student wellness.

• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and best practices.

• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of students.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

• Previous experience working with pediatric, adolescent, school-based, residential, behavioral health, or community health populations preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to respond effectively during medical emergencies.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Commitment to supporting the health and well-being of youth.

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License .

• Successful completion of all facility onboarding requirements.

• Ability to participate in an in-person client interview .
