Our organization is in search of a Gastroenterologist Physician to enhance our Gastroenterology practice, delivering clinical services at community-based locations in Maple Grove, Edina, and Minneapolis, MN. We are eager to find a dedicated professional who prioritizes patient-centered care in alignment with our organizational goals.

Practice Highlights:

This role will be crucial in the provision of gastrointestinal care, benefiting from a well-established referral network while enjoying the intimate atmosphere of a smaller practice, complemented by access to extensive academic resources from the University of Minnesota.

  • This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) involving approximately 30% of time dedicated to patient care in the clinic and 70% focused on outpatient endoscopy procedures.

  • The practice is supported by an advanced practice provider and additional staff members.

  • Work locations include the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Southdale Hospital, and Specialty Centers in Maple Grove and Edina.

  • Engage in collaboration with fellow Gastroenterology specialists within the University of Minnesota, focusing on areas such as pancreaticobiliary disease, transplant hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disorders, and microbiota.

  • Join a vibrant and collegial team of Gastroenterologists, many of whom have been recognized as Top Doctors by Minnesota Monthly.

  • Experience a diverse mix of inpatient, outpatient/virtual care, and procedural work.

  • Utilize a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC).

  • There is a high demand for complex GI cases, offering a stimulating practice environment with a substantial internal referral network.

  • Opportunity to create a specialized program of interest, with leadership and autonomy.

  • On-call responsibilities are shared equally within the Gastroenterology Division, with a ratio of 1:10.

  • Work in state-of-the-art facilities featuring new clinics and endoscopy suites.

  • We offer opportunities for ongoing professional development through educational conferences, CME, and collaboration with leading specialists.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship training program.

  • Board certification with the ABIM in internal medicine and board eligibility/certification in gastroenterology.

  • Possession or ability to obtain a medical license and DEA in Minnesota, meeting the necessary criteria for Credentialing and Privileges.

  • Eligibility to receive work authorization in the U.S. from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, maintaining legal status as per VISA requirements.

The salary range for this full-time position is between $423,293 and $783,365, based on experience, with potential for incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific components. Salary will be prorated according to FTE.
