Associate Director, Project Management

Overview Heartbeat is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to lead client delivery teams, manage multi‑million dollar accounts, and champion process optimization within the organization. Responsibilities Lead delivery of high‑quality deliverables for large client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and balanced economics. Define delivery structure, manage scope, budget, and timeline for multiple concurrent projects. Drive process improvements, mentor junior staff, and foster continuous optimization of project workflows. Interface with client senior executives and internal stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements. Accurately manage financials of assigned project portfolio. Serve as a key member of the pre‑sales team and career‑manage direct reports. Qualifications 8+ years as a Project Manager in an agency setting. Experience with fully integrated delivery (marketing, technology, digital, etc.). Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience required. Launch and program management experience strongly desired. Expertise in project and program management methodologies, risk management, and detailed work planning. Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams including creatives, technologists, and media. Comfort with client and vendor stakeholder engagement. Willingness to travel to client sites. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MIS, Business Administration or related field preferred.
