Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing consumer goods and services company in Miami seeking a Senior Accountant . This is an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate and offers an excellent opportunity for a strong accountant to grow organically with the organization while gaining exposure to multiple functions as the company continues to develop. Salary/Rate $85k - $90k Position Overview The Senior Accountant will report directly to an Accounting Manager who serves as a strong mentor. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities and offers exposure to financial planning and analysis through close collaboration with company leadership. Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Perform general accounting duties, including daily transactional accounting. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules. Review general ledger accounts and prepare and post journal entries. Manage billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities. Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements. Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals. Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently with large data sets.
