Fund Accounting Manager

A leading alternative investment platform is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to support private equity strategies within a global fund finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing fund-level accounting, financial reporting, and limited partner reporting across complex private equity vehicles, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across finance, tax, investor relations, and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities Review daily cash and investment activity and monitor credit facility usage Review journal entries and perform detailed general ledger analysis Coordinate and review capital calls, distributions, and investor capital activity Review waterfall calculations, management fees, and billing statements Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, including audited reports and disclosures Prepare quarterly capital account statements and internal reporting packages Respond to investor inquiries and support investor reporting needs Manage regulatory reporting filings, including Form PF and AIFMD Partner with tax teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred 6+ years of experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration Strong technical accounting and analytical skills with a high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to build effective working relationships across teams and seniority levels Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced Excel skills required; fund accounting system experience (e.g., Investran) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
