As a Teller, you will serve as the face of the credit union, providing exceptional member service and personalized financial solutions to our members. Primary responsibilities include conducting various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, promoting our comprehensive range of products and services, and building strong rapport with members through genuine engagement and proactive support.What You'll Be DoingCreate a welcoming and positive environment for members by greeting them warmly, actively listening to their needs, and assisting in a friendly and professional manner.Conduct various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring that member accounts are handled with precision and attention to detail.Balance cash drawers and maintain proper cash levels.Educate members on various GNCU products and services and identify opportunities to cross sell products and services to meet member’s financial needs.Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to safeguard member confidentiality and protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions, maintaining the integrity and security of the credit union's operations.Qualifications6 months customer service experience6 months cash handling preferredSkills & CompetenciesExcellent Communication SkillsProblem Solving and Analytical SkillsFriendly and Outgoing PersonalitySales Skills and ExperienceEffective Relationship Building SkillsWilling to take initiativeAction orientedCommunicates effectivelyCustomer (member) focusedCollaboratesPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time.
