Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to join our healthcare team in a dynamic surgical unit. The role involves supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a safe, sterile environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating room by sterilizing instruments and arranging surgical tools.
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs.
Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly and ready for use.
Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field.
Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate case records.
Adhere to hospital policies regarding safety, infection control, and patient care.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.
Current and active Surgical Technology certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital setting.
Proficient in use of surgical instruments and equipment, preferably with Meditech system experience.
Demonstrates excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Ability to work variable shifts with call requirements.
