A Digestive Health/Gastroenterology and Primary Care Practice dedicated to providing high-quality endoscopic and colonoscopy services in a comfortable, welcoming environment is seeking a head nurse / charge nurse. Practice is looking for an Experienced Full-Time Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse! The Head Nurse/ Charge Nurse oversees day to day leadership on the unit, including scheduling, staffing, and overseeing daily operations. Works cooperatively with the DON to facilitate seamless efficient functioning at the practice. The Head Nurse/ Charge Nurse will be responsible for organizing and managing the flow of patients including daily staffing assignments. The Head Nurse/ Charge Nurse must present in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner in all interactions with patients to resolve their clinical issues and maintains a positive feeling relative to the center and our services. Qualifications - Current New York state RN license. Previous managerial or charge nurse experience preferred. GI experience required, preferably in an ASC or GI Suite setting. 2 year telemetry or ICU experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. EMR and computer skills. Group offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, with no evening or holiday work hours.
