Job Overview:

The Sales Professional is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience while helping customers find the right pool, spa, and backyard products for their needs. This role combines consultative selling, relationship building, product knowledge, and day-to-day showroom responsibilities.
No pool or spa industry experience is required; comprehensive product and sales training will be provided. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, motivated to achieve sales goals, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 /Hourly + Commission

Responsibilities :

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate products, and guide them through the sales process from initial conversation through purchase.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and professional service.
• Develop a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and applications to confidently assist customers.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to develop new business, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.
• Provide support with purchases, returns, and other customer service needs.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward solutions that support both the customer and the company.
• Complete required product, sales, and operational training in a timely manner.
• Perform pool and spa water testing and provide customers with appropriate product recommendations based on results.
• Assist customers with carrying and loading merchandise after purchase.
• Maintain accurate awareness of inventory and follow established inventory-control and point-of-sale procedures.
• Stock and merchandise products, update signage and shelf tags, and maintain organized product displays.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and customer-ready showroom and stock area.
• Support approved social media content and other store initiatives as directed by the General Manager.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall store performance and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and company values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of sales experience preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and close sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Basic business math skills, including percentages and sales-related calculations.
• Comfortable using email, Google Drive, point-of-sale systems, and other business software.
• Ability to learn product information, sales processes, policies, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and/or walk for approximately 8–10 hours during a shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist with moving merchandise weighing more than 100 pounds using appropriate equipment such as carts, dollies, pallet jacks, or other available material-handling tools.
