Charge Nurse (RN) - Telemetry - $36-58 per hour

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) in Valley Park, Missouri. This ongoing staff position focuses on the Telemetry specialty, offering growth in leadership skills within a stable telemetry unit. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing Employment Type : Staff Responsibilities Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization through discharge and into ambulatory settings. Critically assesses patient data to proactively mitigate impending changes in condition and establishes consults to interprofessional teams as appropriate. Leads development and implementation of complex individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with family, caregivers, and interprofessional team members. Utilizes and champions evidence‑based practices through participation in journal clubs, literature reviews, and dissemination of new knowledge. Explores opportunities to advance nursing practice, including community outreach, ethics advisory participation, adjunct faculty roles, and specialty organization leadership. Analyzes gaps in practice standards and collaborates with leadership to enhance safe patient care. Leads evaluation of patient and family experience and adjusts care to improve satisfaction and quality. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing. Experience: 2–5 years of nursing experience. Supervisor Experience: None required. Licenses & Certifications: RN. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
