Part-Time | Days | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 2 days per week (24 hours per week) | Every 3rd weekend rotation required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across both the Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical units within a Critical Access facility
- Manage inpatient census, dividing patient load collaboratively among the nursing team each shift
- Triage and care for ER patients, with responsibility shared across the nursing team as needed
- Collaborate with LPNs and CNAs as part of a small, close-knit care team
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with documented experience in both Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical settings
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — must be current at time of submission
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — must be current at time of submission
- TNCC certification — must be current at time of submission or have a class scheduled prior to submission (receipt required)
- ER and MS experience must be reflected in work history at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (AHA) certification highly preferred
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or small rural facility setting
