Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire full time BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join our team. The Anesthesiologists provide care at four facilities in Upstate, SC. From Level 1 trauma centers to community hospitals, we treat a variety of complex cases. The Anesthesiology department is comprised of General and Cardiac Anesthesiologists. Subspecialty call is covered by the respective team, and all general call is split evenly amongst the generalists.

Facilities include:

• SMC Church Street Campus Level 1 Trauma Center (Spartanburg, SC): 19,000+ cases annually, 3,800+ deliveries annually. 23 state of the art OR's, 3 cardiac ORs, 3 EP labs equipped for anesthesia, 3 OB ORs, 4 endo suites.
• SMC Mary Black Campus (Spartanburg, SC): 9 ORs (with expansion in progress), 4 endo suites, 5000+ cases annually. 3 anesthesiologists staffed each day. Nights and weekends home call coverage.
• PMC Pelham Medical Center (Greer, SC): 5 ORs (with expansion in progress), 1 minor room, 1 cath lab, 1 MRI. Case mix includes: ortho, spine, neuro, general, robotics, GYN, plastics, vascular, GI, maxo-facial, pain & ENT (68% ortho & spine). 4,000+ cases annually. DNV orthopaedic, hip & knee, spine, and foot & ankle center of excellence. US News & World Report #1 in spine for SC. Nights and weekends home call coverage.
• CMC - Cherokee Medical Center (Gaffney, SC): 5 ORs, 1 MD per day. Case mix: general, gyn, GI, ortho, regional anesthesia, occasional TEEs, minimal healthy peds. No evening or weekend cases; no call requirements.

Exceptional compensation package including: fellowship stipends available, if assigned and qualified; competitive compensation, sign on bonus and relocation assistance; $6,000 CME allowance; attractive retirement options; generous amount of time off available; paid malpractice to include tail coverage; PSLF approved institution.
