Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / Ambulatory Surgery

Location

Weston, WI | Ambulatory Surgery / Outpatient Surgery Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 0700–1530 | No weekends, no call, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a 6-suite ambulatory surgery OR environment
• Support a variety of case types including GI/endoscopy, podiatry, cataracts, sports medicine, GYN, urology, small vascular, and general surgery
• Float between GI and OR cases within the outpatient surgery center as needed
• May be required to work at additional locations, including an on-campus hospital OR, based on operational needs
• Complete computer-based training (CBTs) during the first week of orientation; utilize Cerner EMR (training provided if unfamiliar)
• Clock in and out at the facility per required timekeeping procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required prior to start date
• ACLS certification required prior to start date
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date of at least 6 months prior to submission date — this must be disclosed at time of submission
• Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior GI/endoscopy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with local monitoring a plus
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR beneficial, though training will be provided
