Operations/Service Manager II

As an Operations Service Manager at Burlington, one of the largest off‑price retailers in the country, you’ll be a leader of the store team and participate in managing the overall operations of the store. You will serve as a role model for store associates, demonstrating and reinforcing the company’s Core Values, developing trust and respect among peers and staff, building strong teams and partnerships, and driving business results. You’ll coach, train and develop a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, Receiving team members and Receiving Supervisors while also overseeing business operations to ensure associates deliver excellent customer service and professionalism. A Day in the Life Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of company funds and property, asset protection, sales, and record‑keeping procedures. Provide guidance to Customer Service Supervisors to meet customer service expectations and ensure smooth customer flow at the registers. Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs. Lead the overall receiving process, including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks, and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy. Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD); set the leadership example for customers and associates and drive results in the store. Support the Store Manager and others in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning. Assist in the management of other store operations areas as needed. Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams. Qualifications 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience at an Off‑Price, Big Box, Specialty, or medium‑to‑large‑sized, multi‑unit retail organization. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software. Travel may be required from time to time. Benefits Compensation Range: $23.20 – $30.95 per hour.
