Assistant Store Manager

Summary of Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store. Provide a unique store experience to customers through a fun, professional attitude. Motivate staff to drive sales and ensure goals are reached. Utilize company guidelines (and good taste) to maintain store appearance and organization. Effectively prioritize, multitask, and problem solve. Provide good customer service. Maintain store appearance by adhering to company visual standards. Lift furniture weighing 50+ lbs on average daily. Coordinate and assist with shipment unloading. Help with rearranging furniture around the store. Requirements 1-2 years of retail sales experience and basic math skills. Previous retail management experience preferred. Interior design/decorating experience and/or knowledge of furniture product a plus but not required. Basic computer skills required, e.g., MS Word & Excel. Visual merchandising experience. Passion for furniture and home décor sales. Ability to use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Yelp, etc. Ability to follow direction and present yourself professionally. Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Weekend availability and a flexible schedule.
