divh2Registered Nurse Supervisor/h2pSt. Monica Center is a 180 LTC / ST Rehab Facility looking for a Full Time / Pool Registered Nurse Supervisor 7p-7a to join our team!/ppCome and join our Dynamic Team of Caring Compassionate staff touching the lives of our residents./ppJob Duties and Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Supervisor:/pulliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including but not limited to: ensuring use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, infection control measures./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will regularly rounding on nursing units that includes but is not limited to: checking in with licensed and unlicensed staff, checking residents who are acutely ill or actively dying, greeting all new admissions./liliThe RN Supervisor will assure that staff treats residents with dignity and respect./liliThe RN Supervisor will assure staff follow facility policies and procedures./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will support the healthcare staff to document correctly. Assist in determining root cause, and in initiating preventive measures/interim safety plan. Assure communication to all responsible parties including administration and unit managers./liliThe RN Supervisor will facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties or outside vendors as needed to ensure resident care needs are appropriately met./liliThe RN Supervisor will consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will facilitate communication between shift staff and unit managers/DON/ADON./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department./liliThe Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, as necessary./liliThe RN Nurse Supervisor will prepare/administer performance reviews for shift staff in consultation with unit managers; provide correction/re-education to shift staff as needed./li/ulpExperience:/pulliNursing: 1 year (Preferred)/li/ulpLicense/Certification:/pulliBLS Certification (Preferred)/liliRN (Required)/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer/p/div
