They serve as an integral part of the treatment team, ensuring timely completion of documentation to benefit clients. This is an hourly position. Responsibilities Apply empirically based behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients and staff. Implement Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of behavior analysts/consultants. Teach clients to acquire language, academic, self‑help, and social skills as stated in the ITPs. Assist clients, as needed, with academic and/or appropriate life skills (e.g., toilet training, eating, self‑help skills). Act as a team‑player, offering ideas, suggestions, and assistance with work duties. Participate actively in staff training programs designed to increase overall skills. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapist trainers, therapists, and clients. Become fluent in administering and understanding the VB‑MAPP, ABLLS, and other assessments as needed. Observe, record, and report the condition and behavior of clients, including maintaining daily records. Work with clients, staff, families, and the community to implement treatment plans. Consistently implement behavior plans to reduce socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors. Effectively respond to and manage crisis situations, which may include client physical aggression and property destruction. Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and in a timely manner. Follow Adapt for Life and Adaptive Community Support Services policies and procedures, including adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Submit all notes, progress reports, billing, and other necessary documentation on time. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations. Qualifications / Educational Requirements High School diploma, preferably some college. Registered Behavior Technician, or ability to be board‑certified within three months of hire. Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver, and private insurance experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with people at all levels of the organization. Strong leadership experience with excellent interpersonal and people skills. Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills and abilities. Demonstrated ability to develop programs that align strategically with ACSS goals. Physical Requirements Must be physically able to respond appropriately at all times when working directly with a patient. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
