Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support students through a variety of mental health, behavioral, academic, and developmental needs. The School Psychologist will provide on-site psychological services, conduct evaluations, collaborate with educational teams, and assist in determining eligibility for specialized educational services. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve success in the educational environment.
Position Details
Position: School Psychologist
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Length: 43 weeks
Start Date: August 2026
Setting: School-Based
Modality: Primarily in-person; hybrid arrangements may be considered
Charting Systems: EdPlan and PowerSchool
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational, behavioral, and academic assessments.
Interpret evaluation results and prepare comprehensive reports.
Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Provide consultation regarding behavioral, emotional, and academic interventions.
Support students experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of psychological practice.
Minimum Requirements
Current state licensure and/or certification as required for assignment.
Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred.
Master's degree in Psychology or a related field preferred.
Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR certification, if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
Current health certificate as required by state regulations or contract requirements.
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based experience.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and evaluation procedures.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience utilizing educational management and documentation systems.
