What You’ll Enjoy Employee Engagement Activities Positive work environment Excellent training Competitive pay and benefits Job Description The Maintenance Assistant performs maintenance and construction work around the facility, maintains grounds, parking lots and equipment, performs cleaning tasks, paint, plaster, and inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning. Responsibilities Work on cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems. Perform carpentry duties as needed. Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed. Perform heavy‑duty cleaning. Change screens and storm windows. Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety. Advise the Maintenance Director of any repair needs concerning structure, equipment and grounds. Qualifications Ability to work independently. Ability to make decisions independently. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Education: entry‑level (0‑2 years). Experience: high school diploma or GED. #J-18808-Ljbffr
