Registered Nurse – Part Time Days AtlantiCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our part‑time, day‑shift roster. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver culturally competent, evidence‑based care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, gathering subjective and objective data on the patient, family, and significant others. Develop and document an individualized plan of care, identifying problems, desired outcomes, and evidence‑based interventions. Implement interventions and orders consistent with the plan of care and the medical treatment plan. Evaluate outcomes, determine effectiveness of interventions, and revise plans as needed. Perform limited laboratory services, including specimen collection, processing, quality control, and result reporting to clinicians. Lead and support performance‑improvement initiatives, guiding other team members toward best practices. Engage in ongoing professional and personal growth through educational activities. Performance Expectations Demonstrate the competencies listed on the mandatory Assessment and Evaluation Tool. Maintain mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory exercises Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Active RN license in New Jersey (or multi‑state license). BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. ATCN or TNCC certification required within 24 months of hire or transfer. PALS or ENPC certification attained within 12 months of hire or transfer. Completion of CPI certification by 10/31/25 for existing employees; new hires have 1 year from hire. Minimum two years of medical/surgical and/or emergency room experience; preferred experience includes ICU, OR, PN, ED, trauma bay, brain health, stroke, or critical care settings. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 25–50 lbs frequently and 50–100 lbs occasionally, standing, walking, and stair use. Work Environment & Safety Exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, infectious diseases, hazardous substances and potential injury. Work requires considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and use of heavy equipment or patient lifts. Some departments require the ability to distinguish colors; some require wearing lead for radiation exposure. Adherence to the department‑specific Assessment and Evaluation Tool for essential functions. Reporting Relationship This position reports to the patient‑care unit or department leadership.
