Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State
• Experience providing therapy services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students with differing physical and developmental needs
• Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ mobility and physical needs within the educational setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in collaboration with IEP teams
• Support students in accessing the academic curriculum through adaptive equipment, therapy exercises, and mobility training
• Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Engage families in the therapy process, providing education and updates on progress
