ENV SVCS WKR/HOUSEKEEPER

Responsibilities Wage Range: $18.00-21.00/hour About the Position: We are looking for a Housekeeper to work in a fast paced hospital. Duties to include but are not limited to: Maintains cleanliness of indoor areas, cleans fixtures, floors, walls, furniture, windows, & all other areas. Makes beds, empties trash, and restocks supplies as requested. Ability to rotate shifts and /or buildings as needed. Must have knowledge of commonly-used commercial housekeeping concepts, practices, and procedures - preferably in the healthcare field. Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Requires frequent pushing, pulling of heavy loads, kneeling, grasping, stooping and bending Ability to maintain patient and corporate confidentiality Must be able to speak, read and write. Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Vision and hearing sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Requires repetitive use of hands and light lowering of objects High school education or equivalent with six months of cleaning experience required.
