Client Director
The Client Director is accountable for the overall success, growth, and retention of a portfolio of strategic clients. This role serves as the senior point of contact, responsible for building trusted executive relationships, aligning TMF services to the client's business strategy, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all locations and service lines. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Client Director drives account strategy, identifies growth opportunities, manages risk and escalations, and ensures long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key responsibilities include owning the overall client relationship and ensuring seamless delivery across all TMF services and locations, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as the primary client advocate, coordinating effectively between clients and internal TMF teams, developing and leading the extended TMF client service team in line with the client's strategy, gaining a deep understanding of the client's current and future business needs, defining and executing an account strategy for each client, maintaining full oversight of the client portfolio, managing executive-level escalations, establishing and maintaining a clear communication and governance model, ensuring all TMF teams involved have a clear understanding of the client's business strategy and priorities, leading contract renewals, and securing outcomes that balance client needs and TMF's commercial objectives.
Key requirements include being a collaborative team player with the ability to build strong networks and influence without formal authority, being agile, professional, and comfortable adapting to changing client and business needs, having a strong commercial mindset with a passion for business and client outcomes, demonstrating the ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships, having a solid understanding of professional and international outsourcing services, being a strategic and critical thinker with a solution-oriented, problem-solving approach, having proven capability in long-term planning, solution selling, and portfolio growth, having strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders, having excellent written and verbal English communication skills, being culturally aware with the ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment, being experienced in coordinating complex, multi-country and multi-service proposals, being self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team, being service excellence–driven, proactive in removing obstacles and improving client outcomes, being open to change and continuous improvement, with a commitment to learning across TMF's service offerings, and acting with integrity and consistently upholding TMF's values.
Experience includes relevant experience in a commercial, consulting, professional services, or regulated services environment, a proven track record in client relationship management, including ownership of delivery, execution, escalations, and portfolio growth, and demonstrated success operating within a complex, matrixed organisation.
