Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant - LTC - CMA - Days - ASAP Start - LTC - Knife River Care Center. It would be mainly CMA shifts but there might be a CNA shift or two in there randomly to get them their 40 hours for the week. CMA shift would be 6:30a-5p. CNA shifts can be 8s, 12s, or variable. Charting is electronic. COVID vaccine required; unvaccinated staff can test once to twice a week. Days CNA to resident ratio: 4/31 or 4/24. Evenings CNA to resident ratio: 3/31. Nights CNA to resident ratio: 2/31 or 2/24. Days LPN to resident ratio: 1/31 or 1/24. Evenings LPN to resident ratio: 1/31 or 1/24. Nights LPN to resident ratio: 1/42. All staff: 40-hour work week guarantee. No rotating weekends. Mainly 12-hour shifts for nurses and 8- and 12-hour shifts for CNAs. Nurse 12-hour shifts start at 6a and 6p; nurse 8-hour shifts start at 6a and 2:30p. CNA days start at 6:30a, evenings at 2:30p and 5p, nights at 6:30p and 11p. Overtime opportunities available. 48-hour weekly guarantee possible if agreed prior. 2 CNAs needed for nights (12hr and 8hr) and evenings (8hr and 5hr). 2 LPNs needed for nights (8hr and 12hr). No COVID-positive residents or COVID units. Alzheimer's unit present but not locked. 3 nurse stations. Average census/bed capacity: 86. Typical residents: LTC and Dementia. No scrub color requirement. No therapy animals or resident pets.
