PeopleShare is hiring dependable Warehouse Associates for a growing 3PL distribution facility in Joliet, IL. This facility supports retail store operations by distributing store equipment, fixtures, parts, and supplies.

This is a long-term opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working in multiple areas of the warehouse and are open to cross-training and learning new skills.
Job Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders using RF scanners
• Perform quality control checks and verify order accuracy
• Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare shipments
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations
• Load, unload, and move inventory throughout the warehouse
• Operate electric pallet jacks (EPJ) and pallet jacks
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
• Support warehouse housekeeping by sweeping floors, removing trash, and keeping work areas clean
• Assist in multiple departments as business needs require
• Cross-train in warehouse functions, including material handling equipment

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required
• RF scanner experience required
• Experience with order picking, quality control, and inventory handling preferred
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating pallet jacks and EPJs preferred
• Experience with PE3 or PE4 equipment is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Must be comfortable performing general labor duties as needed
• Steel-toe shoes required
