Mechanical Engineer - Offshore Reliability

Software Engineer – (Go / Rust) Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2) Duration: 12+ months Location: Concord, CA / Iselin, NJ / Charlotte, NC / Columbus, OH - 3 days hybrid on-site role As a Software Engineer – (Go / Rust), you will: Day to Day Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance distributed systems Write clean, efficient, and scalable code primarily in Go, with opportunities to contribute using Rust Work on an existing production platform, focusing on enhancements, performance optimization, and new feature development (not a greenfield build) Collaborate cross-functionally with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure system reliability, scalability, and resilience through best engineering practices Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives The ideal candidate will have: Experience in Go (Golang) development and exposure to Rust (highly desirable) Understanding of distributed systems architecture, including concurrency, fault tolerance, and scalability Experience working on large-scale, complex engineering systems Problem-solving and debugging skills Experience working with production environments $110,000.00 yearly Pay Range and Benefits: Pay Range*: $70 - $75 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits: Medical & pharmacy coverage, Dental/vision insurance, 401(k), Health saving account (HSA) and Flexible spending account (FSA), Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, Short term and Long term Disability, Accident & Critical illness coverage, Pre-paid legal & ID theft protection, Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
