Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of an extension.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS/Tele nursing, demonstrating the ability to manage a variety of patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medication and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about post-discharge care and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform necessary documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; NIHHS preferred.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required.
