About the Role
The Company is seeking a Market Chief Medical Officer (MCMO) to lead and drive clinical excellence, quality, patient safety, and physician engagement across the Denver Market. This senior physician executive will be responsible for market-wide initiatives that advance these areas, partnering with hospital executives, physician leaders, and operational teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The MCMO will also provide executive oversight for various clinical and operational aspects, collaborate on strategic clinical initiatives, and support the integration and expansion of services. The role requires a highly collaborative individual with a proven track record in leading transformational initiatives, influencing across multiple hospitals, and building trusted relationships to improve quality, clinical outcomes, and operational performance. Candidates for the MCMO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of clinical medical practice experience and at least 5 years' in a Hospital Chief Medical Officer or comparable senior physician leadership role. An advanced degree in a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of quality metrics, regulatory standards, and performance improvement methodologies, and be adept at using data to drive measurable improvements. Exceptional executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is a demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The role demands a strategic thinker who can balance local and market-wide priorities and is capable of leading change across multiple facilities.
