ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING INTERN Skyhawks Sports | Treasure Valley, ID Local or Remote | College Credit | 6–12 hrs/week | Flexible Schedule

Skyhawks Sports is one of the most active and fast-growing youth sports organizations in the Boise metro area. We operate across 7+ cities, serve thousands of kids every year, and we are building something that matters in this community. We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern who wants to grow their skills by actually doing the work, not watching someone else do it.

If you are a marketing, communications, digital media, or business student looking for hands-on experience that will genuinely build your portfolio and your resume, this is your opportunity.

THE ROLE:
This internship is built around organic social media growth across Instagram, Facebook, and Google. But we know great marketing students have a range of strengths. If your background is in content creation, graphic design, email marketing, SEO, or another area of marketing, we want to hear from you. We will shape this role around what you do best.

You will work directly with our leadership team on real campaigns, real content, and real strategy for a growing organization with a lot going on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Grow our organic presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Google.
• Create and schedule engaging content that reflects our brand and community.
• Analyze performance metrics and bring ideas to improve reach and engagement.
• Support seasonal marketing campaigns and program promotions.
• Contribute your strengths, whether that is design, writing, strategy, or all of the above.
• Collaborate with our research and outreach teams when needed.
• Build a body of work you will actually be proud to show future employers.
• Connect with local account to collaborate and increase online presence.

YOU'RE OUR PERSON IF:

• You are currently enrolled in a college or university program and can receive academic credit for this internship (not required).
• You have a genuine interest in social media, marketing, or digital content.
• You are self-motivated and can manage your own time with 6–12 flexible hours per week.
• You want experience that goes beyond classroom theory.
• You care about community and want your work to mean something.
• You are creative, consistent, and eager to grow.
