AR/Collections Specialist

Location: Palm Springs, CA Salary: $25/hr. Direct hire 100% onsite Job Description - Providing support to the operations and sales department, working closely supporting most aspects of various operational accounting/administrative tasks as needed. Identifying and preventing discrepancies and helping set up control systems when identified. Must have 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience . Must have experience with collecting payments Work closely with the Operations to effectively identify and communicate areas of deficiency or errors Support aspects of operational accounting (billing, credit card matching, reporting, accounts receivables, payment research and spreadsheet data entries) Monitor and manage Accounting distribution mailbox and provide timely response actions internally and externally Assist Operations Manager with daily operational functions when needed JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: High Diploma or higher, or equivalent experience Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: General knowledge of basic accounting and operational principles Strong attention to details Someone with Go getter attitude Must be reliable and able to carry out tasks independently and collaboratively Ability to prioritize tasks, and take initiative Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Displays flexibility, sound business judgment, and discretion Consistently high attention to detail and rate of accuracy Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of Excel, understanding and ability to enter, access and update data Utilize accounting systems to facilitate processes All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
