Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles for all procedures. Review patient history and ensure proper protocol selection for each scan. Operate CT equipment, calibrate, and troubleshoot hardware as needed. Collaborate with radiologists to verify image quality and diagnostic relevance. Maintain meticulous patient records and accurate procedure documentation. Engage in ongoing professional development to advance technical skills. Adhere to scheduled work pipelines to meet daily volume targets. Provide compassionate patient care and minimize wait times to enhance experience. Assist in data collection for quality improvement and performance metrics. Maintain clean and organized workstation and comply with facility policies. Experience/Qualifications Certified CT technologist with current state license or registration. Strong knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety practices. Proficiency operating CT scanners, adjusting protocols, and calibrations. Ability to review patient history and select appropriate scan protocol. Collaboration with radiologists to verify image quality and diagnostic relevance. Accurate documentation of procedures and meticulous patient records. Ability to meet daily volume targets within on-site, part-time schedule. Excellent patient care skills to reduce wait times and improve experience. Commitment to ongoing professional development and skill advancement. Capable of data collection for quality improvement and performance metrics.
