General Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate – Pick & Pack / Shipping & ReceivingWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping a variety of products, including clothing, footwear, beauty products, and general merchandise. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.Pack orders securely to ensure products arrive in excellent condition.Verify product quantities, sizes, colors, SKUs, and order accuracy before shipment.Receive inbound shipments and inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies.Unload, sort, label, and organize inventory into designated warehouse locations.Prepare outbound shipments by printing labels, sealing cartons, and staging orders for carrier pickup.Process returns, exchanges, and damaged merchandise according to company procedures.Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times.Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.Products HandledApparel and clothingShoes and accessoriesBeauty and cosmetic productsPersonal care itemsGeneral retail merchandiseQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Basic math and reading skills.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Physical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday.Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as business needs require.Preferred SkillsOrder picking and packingShipping and receivingInventory controlQuality inspectionTime managementTeamworkDependabilityAttention to detailWarehouse safety awarenessAbility to meet productivity goalsWork EnvironmentThis position is performed in a warehouse/distribution center environment where employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, moving machinery, and moderate noise levels.
