Shopper Marketing Manager

LHH is partnering with a well-established consumer products organization to identify a Shopper Marketing Manager to join their growing marketing team. This role will be responsible for driving shopper marketing initiatives, delivering actionable consumer and shopper insights, and supporting retailer-specific activation strategies across key accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in shopper marketing within the CPG industry, with experience leveraging retail, loyalty, and consumer data to influence marketing and sales strategies. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance leadership while helping shape the shopper journey across both in-store and digital channels. Key Responsibilities Lead shopper marketing programs across retail accounts, including in-store activations, digital campaigns, retail media, partnerships, and promotional initiatives Develop and maintain annual and monthly shopper marketing calendars across national and regional retail partners Analyze shopper, loyalty, and syndicated data to identify consumer behaviors, purchase trends, and growth opportunities Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support marketing strategy, category growth, and retail execution Manage relationships with retail media networks, shopper marketing vendors, and analytics partners Track shopper marketing investments, budgets, and campaign performance to measure ROI and effectiveness Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to support planning, forecasting, and execution efforts Serve as the voice of the shopper by helping the organization better understand customer needs, motivations, and purchase behaviors Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and retailer performance to inform strategic decision-making Support reporting, scorecarding, and post-activity analysis to optimize future shopper marketing programs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred 5+ years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, category management, sales strategy, or a related CPG-focused function Strong experience working with consumer panel data, retail loyalty data, Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, or similar analytics platforms Experience supporting retailer marketing initiatives and retail media programs Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization or reporting tools preferred Benefits Health Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Additional benefits may be available based on the employer Compliance Statement Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
