• Engagement Name: Tax Senior
• Work Arrangement: Fully On-site - Fort Myers, FL
• Compensation: $150,000 DOE
• Start Date: Upon Offer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, including individual, high-net-worth, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, trust, and estate returns.
• Manage multiple tax engagements while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.
• Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services to clients.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies tailored to individual client needs.
• Review tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted tax advisor.
• Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members to provide comprehensive client solutions.
• Research and stay current on changes to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with mentoring and providing guidance to junior and staff-level tax professionals.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of public accounting or relevant tax experience is preferred.
• CPA or EA Required; CPA eligibility will also be considered.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing a variety of individual and business tax returns.
• Expertise in corporate and partnership tax preparation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individual taxation.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: 3-7 years of public accounting or relevant tax experience preferred, with strong corporate and partnership tax preparation experience. CPA or EA required; CPA eligibility will also be considered.

Compensation Disclosure: This role is fully on-site in Fort Myers, FL and offers an annual salary range of $150,000, plus a discretionary bonus opportunity and the benefits described above. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
