Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 26-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population
• Circulate on cesarean section procedures as required
• Manage patient care across an 11-room, 15-bed unit with an average daily census of 15–20 patients
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Float within scope of practice to sister facilities or units to meet staffing needs
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays as outlined in contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN state license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Willingness to float between units and nearby sister facilities within scope of practice
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcome; first-time travelers are accepted
