The role supports safe, efficient facility operations while promoting vocational skill development. As a Corrections Plumbing Trade Instructor, you will perform the following duties: Training Delivery: Provide classroom and on-the-job instruction in standard plumbing practices and systems Work Crew Oversight: Supervise and guide inmate workers as they complete plumbing work assignments Tool and Material Control: Issue, track, and search materials and tools used during instruction and job tasks Scheduling and Planning: Organize daily inmate work schedules and inspect work for quality and accuracy Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records of inmate progress, attendance, and assignment information Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment, 40 hour work week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $51,868.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Five years of experience in the inspection, maintenance, repair, assembly, and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures used in heating, water, and drainage systems; or Completion of an approved apprenticeship in the plumbing trade; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year of journey level work in the plumbing trade. Other Requirements You must successfully complete basic training in Elizabethtown, PA. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
