Press Brake Set Up Technician

This is a 1st shift position. Candidate needs to have experience with CNC and Manual set up tech experience. Candidate should have a good work ethic and attendance history and be flexible to work overtime if needed. Typical work week is M-TH 6a-4:30p, overtime would require Fridays and Saturdays when needed. This position pays $22 Education high school diploma or equivalent Physical Demands This position is very active and may require standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting. The employee may be required to do heavy lifting up to 40 pounds depending on the job.

Responsibilities

• Daily set up and operation of a CNC or Manual press brake
• Must read and understand blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
• Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
• Must be able to make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
• Detect and report defective or questionable materials to the supervisor
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow all safety rules
