About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract assignment. This position will support month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to contribute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Support audit requests and documentation
- Analyze financial results and variances
- Improve accounting processes and controls
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
