Registered Nurse
Location: Callicoon, NY $75,000 per year | Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm / Saturday & Sunday Off
Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve.
As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide essential health services and support to students while helping create a safe, healthy environment where they can focus on their education, training, and career goals.
Job Duties
- Evaluate student health concerns and provide appropriate care and referrals.
- Provide preventative and emergency health services to students.
- Support the management and daily operations of the Wellness Department.
- Coordinate chronic condition case management and follow-up care.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate health services with local hospitals, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
- Maintain adequate medical equipment and supply inventory.
- Support the Center's medical separation process and help students access required services and referrals.
- Assist with wellness reporting, safety/incident documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Help maintain current healthcare guidelines and promote quality wellness services.
- Participate in the Center's HEALs (Healthy Eating, Active Lifestyles) Committee.
- Mentor students and model positive Career Success Standards.

Qualifications
- Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing required
- Active, unrestricted nursing license in New York State required
- Three years of healthcare experience required
- At least one year of supervisory experience required
- Regional approval required
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing quality care and supporting young adults
