Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Telemetry Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for every other weekend or flexible scheduling.

Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals on a 33-bed med-surg floor that includes 16 telemetry monitors. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring and treating a range of medical conditions. You will work with ortho patients, bariatric patients, and individuals with heart and respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care and ensure a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and supervisor for effective patient monitoring and treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Read and interpret telemetry monitor strips in collaboration with the CCU nurse.
• Document patient care and progress using the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS Certification is required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid RN license is required.
• COVID vaccination is mandatory.
