Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Mentor patients and their caregivers on therapy practices that facilitate ongoing improvement outside of the clinical setting.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes meticulously and adapt therapeutic measures as necessary to keep them on their path to recovery.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a nationally accredited program.
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
