Creates and maintains project schedules. Coordinates with internal and external vendors and service providers to ensure timely execution of all project phases.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Creates project schedules and tracks against the key milestones. Investigates when critical dates are missed and work with the operations team to ID correction and update schedule.Effectively utilize resource pool for realistic schedulesLeads conversations with suppliers, with technical support from operations.Contribute to project kickoff and weekly production meetingsMaintain regular communication paths with customer, internal automation team, and other ENGEL teams as needed. Via status meetings with notes, LOPs, schedule updates.Act as technical representative for FATs including tracking performance and organizing post-test summaryPerforms other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.Qualification Requirements:Educational/Training Requirement:Minimum 2 year Associates Degree in technical fieldExperience:Minimum four (4) years' experience working as a project manager on technical projects similar to Automation and Robotic SystemsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with good document control skillsKnowledge of ProjectWorx, MS Project or equivalent project planning softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound professional judgmentGood time management skills – ability to handle several projects at onceProactive mindset to anticipate customer/team needs, address issues and escalate promptlyExperience with risk management and change managementExperience with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint preferredFamiliar with Project Management Institute (PMI) methodology preferredPrior experience in a technical role preferredOther Requirements:Travel approximately 1%-5% of the time to customer or vender siteMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust possess a valid passportAbility to travel internationallyWHY ENGEL?
