FSA Actuary - VBC Contracting

Managing actuarial analytics and leading a team, the full-time remote FSA Actuary - VBC Contracting will develop actionable insights, support financial objectives, and represent the Actuarial department to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Direct the efforts of actuarial staff to achieve departmental goals set by senior management Collaborate with senior management to establish long-term strategy within the Actuarial department Hire, recruit, and develop a high-performing actuarial team with optimal work distribution Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field, or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) certification required upon hire 8 years of progressively responsible pricing and actuarial experience in health care 3 years of management experience Extensive knowledge of risk evaluation and various health insurance products
