Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
• Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or compact eligibility
• Experience in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate-acuity patients
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with monitored patients in a stepdown or telemetry environment
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
