Overview:
\n Our pain management practice in Pasadena is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of procedures, including ophthalmology, pain management, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery. New grads and experienced CRNAs alike are encouraged to apply for this full-time, Monday–Friday role within a collaborative clinical team.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Perform advanced pre-operative patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and risk stratification for anesthesia
\n
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient condition, procedure type, and best practice guidelines
\n
• Administer monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and general anesthesia (GA) across ophthalmology, pain management, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery procedures, monitoring patients throughout to ensure safety and stability
\n
• Manage airways, including intubation and extubation, using appropriate techniques and equipment for each patient
\n
• Oversee intraoperative anesthesia management, adjusting medications and interventions in response to patient status and surgical needs
\n
• Direct and manage post-anesthesia recovery, including pain control, hemodynamic monitoring, and assessment for anesthesia-related complications
\n
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient flow
\n
• Document all aspects of anesthesia care accurately and timely in the medical record, adhering to clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
\n
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice certification
\n
• Experience in surgical or outpatient settings preferred
\n
