Job Description

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications and services.
• Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs to support business functionality.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Build, enhance, and troubleshoot database queries, stored procedures, and SQL code .
• Support application deployments using DevOps practices and Jenkins pipelines .
• Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support activities.
• Contribute to cloud-based application development and modernization efforts, including Azure initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

Two to three years of relevant experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot application development.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs , SOAP Web Services , and system integrations.
• Experience with Oracle SQL , MS SQL Server , and general Database Design Concepts .
• Understanding of SQL/PLSQL development, query optimization, and data management.
• Experience writing and maintaining Linux Shell Scripts .
• Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to DevOps , CI/CD Pipelines , and Jenkins .
• Understanding of Cloud Technologies and modern application architectures, with exposure to Azure
• Some experience with Azure , Apache Kafka , Git , Jira , and InfoLease .

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
