Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse will hold accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role involves utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment when planning for the safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring.
• Holds valid nursing license in accordance with the state regulations.
• Prior experience in a similar setting is essential.
