May also transport patients to and from appointments at the medical center . Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or general education degree (GED). CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Previous working experience in a health care environment. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Strong communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, patients, families; patience and compassion Ability to lift and position patients properly using best practices Must be customer focused and be able to promote services in a positive manner Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions Ability to work independently, prioritize work, tolerate frequent interruptions and work well under pressure Job Shift: Day/Evening/Night Schedule: Per Diem/Casual Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend, Every Weekend Benefits: No Unions: Yes Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 0 Employee Status: Per Diem/Casual Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $31.53 to $37.67 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
